PIXEL EYE DESIGNS: Custom designed web sites

The examples below are recent web design work done for individuals, small businesses, church and school groups mostly in the Richmond, Virginia area. Each web site was custom designed to fit the needs of each client.

Diane Clement.com

  • Objective: To provide an on-line gallery to display samples of artwork and announce upcoming showings
  • My Role: Sole designer and web master since 2006 of a gallery web site for an abstract artist; used Flash graphics to enhance the site; provide ongoing maintenance and support
  • Results: Improved visual appeal over a prefab template web site formerly used by client; successful marketing tool for artist

  • Objective: To provide information about the chamber music group and upcoming events during their current season
  • My Role: Sole designer of a new web site for a non-profit group, the Chamber Music Society of Central Virgina
  • Results: This new publicity tool was published February 20, 2008

  • Objective: To provide information about the orchestra and upcoming concerts during the current season
  • My Role: Sole designer of 2007-08 web site for a community orchestra to update look of web site from the previous year
  • Results: Successful publicity tool for upcoming performances

  • Objective: To provide information about the orchestra and upcoming concerts during the current season
  • My Role: Sole designer and web master of 2006-07 web site for a community orchestra: provided total upgrade and re-design of aging web site, and provided ongoing maintenance and support
  • Results: Improved visual appeal for an older web site that had become outdated

  • Objective: To provide an on-line presence for the band, publicize their performance calendar and market recordings
  • My Role: Sole designer in 2004 of web site for a Civil War music group; provide ongoing maintenance and support
  • Results: Successful publicity tool for upcoming performances and recordings

  • Objective: To provide an on-line gallery to display samples of artistic styles used on recent photographs
  • My Role: Sole designer since 2005 of custom designed web site for a portrait photographer
  • Results: Internet presence is a successful marketing tool generating more business for this freelance photographer

  • Objective: To provide information to church members and prospective guests about ongoing programs and services
  • My Role: Team member in 2005 for the redesign web site for a large urban church to improve the overall usability and appearance of an existing web site
  • Results: New page layout and graphics attracted and retained larger number of viewers
